It is funny sometimes how we think we know what is best for our lives. I am no different. After living in Starkvegas for three years, here I am in Guatemala, where I don't speak the language, am teaching a subject I have no degree in, and am far removed from all I thought I wanted in life. However, God is good, and He is teaching me many lessons daily. I have learned how to cope in all circumstances and to have joy in the little things, i.e., finding cheap peanut butter, having the hot water last my entire shower, and the end of the rainy season! So, to all who might come across this site, I'll be using it to keep y'all updated on my crazy life down here in Xela. God bless!
